This CNC Machinist role supports growing demand across milling and turning operations, machining high-performance thermoplastics and engineered components.

The Work You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
Set up and operate CNC machining centers and lathes
Work with Robodrill, Okuma, and Method machines
Install tooling, set offsets, and verify workholding
Load programs and make minor edits at the machine as needed
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Hold tolerances and maintain dimensional accuracy
Perform first-article and in-process inspections
Adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling to maintain quality
Monitor equipment and troubleshoot issues
Maintain accurate production documentation
Keep a clean and organized work area
This role requires independent setup capability and strong machining fundamentals.

Machines, Controls & Equipment
You'll work with:
Fanuc Robodrill Machining Centers
Okuma CNC Machines
Method CNC Machines
Precision inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
Experience with Fanuc or Okuma controls is valuable.

Materials You'll Work With
Engineered thermoplastics
High-performance polymer materials
Specialty plastic components
Machining plastics requires proper tool selection and speed/feed control — experience in polymers is a plus.

What We're Looking For
Required
High school diploma or GED
3+ years of CNC machining experience
Experience performing machine setups independently
Ability to read blueprints and hold tolerances
Strong understanding of tooling and offsets
Comfortable inspecting your own work
Reliable and safety-focused
Preferred
Experience with Robodrill, Okuma, or Method machines
Experience machining plastics
Ability to make minor program edits
Experience running multiple machines concurrently
