Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Oracle Pl/Sql DeveloperGenesis10 is currently seeking an Oracle PL/SQL Developer for a contract position with a global financial institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is part of a technology financial project focused on new application development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Oracle database objects, including advanced PL/SQL packages, procedures, and triggers, while ensuring high performance and compliance with security and data governance standards. Responsibilities:Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle database objects, including PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, tables, views, indexes, and materialized views Perform performance tuning and query optimization Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions Perform root-cause analysis and resolve production issues Create technical design documents, data flow diagrams, and deployment plans Support application releases, code promotions, and change management activities Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders Collaborate with QA, developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver solutions on schedule Requirements:Experience with Oracle Database (19c or later) Advanced PL/SQL development skills Experience with SQL performance tuning Knowledge of data modeling and database design Experience with version control tools (Git, Bitbucket) Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong presentation and stakeholder-management skills Ability to gather and clarify complex requirements Desired Skills:Experience with Oracle Exadata Proactive problem solver Detail-oriented and highly organized Customer-focused mindset Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
