ESOL Instructor-remote

Location: RemoteDescription: This position is responsible for the planning, instructing, and assessment of progress for participants in the English Speakers of Other Language program within Northern Berkshire Adult Education. The Instructor will provide multiple access points and opportunities for engagement and will work with other NBAE staff to discuss program needs and implementation. This position includes 10 hours of professional development as part of the work.Requirements:* Bachelor's degree in Education or related field* Experience designing and delivering ESOL lesson plans preferred* Prior TESOL experience preferred* Excellent communication skills* Complete lesson plans using the DESE approved Adult Education template* Complete professional development as assigned and attend staff meetingsHours per day: 2.5 Days per week: 3Salary: $30 per hourAnticipated start date: April 6, 2026.Apply by email to: Charlene Volff and cc: Kate MerriganDistrict ApplicationPhysical Requirements: The position requires a moderate amount of walking, standing, sitting and climbing stairs and step stool whenever necessary. Activities also include moderate physical exertion in body movement such as reaching, bending, twisting, grasping, pushing, and pulling of objects. The position requires lifting objects of 20 pounds on a frequent basis, and over 20 pounds occasionally.
