General Labor Manufacturing Operations

ONCALL Staffing Inc - General Purpose Perform a variety of general duties of a basic, repetitive, and/or manual nature in support of production operations within a food manufacturing environment.Job Duties & Responsibilities Assist operators as necessaryLoad and/or unload materials, ingredients, parts, products, cases, crates, and palletsMove, stack, or place items on conveyors manually or by mechanized meansDeliver production items to designated work areasPack products (cheese, sour cream, drinkable yogurts, and related dairy products) into crates or boxes by handSort, bundle, and fill containers or place products in assembled unitsLabel and identify product loads accuratelyConstruct or deconstruct shipping boxesMaintain cleanliness and general housekeeping of assigned areasComplete all required paperwork accurately and legiblyReport quality or operational issues to supervisors immediatelyFollow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with state and federal regulationsFollow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, quality, and sanitation requirementsPerform other duties as assignedRequirements Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredWarehouse, production, or general labor experience preferredFood manufacturing experience is a plusKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAbility to follow directions and carry out instructionsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to maintain accurate and legible recordsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentBasic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals)Additional Requirements Must be able to work in a food production environment handling dairy products (cheese, sour cream, drinkable yogurts, etc.)Heavy lifting required (consistent lifting of production materials)Slip-resistant boots are REQUIRED – candidates without them will not qualifyMust be able to stand for long periods during the shift
