Accounts Payable Clerk / SpecialistFull-Time | 1st ShiftPolamer Precision is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk / Specialist to join our finance team. This role is responsible for ensuring vendor invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time while maintaining strong internal controls and organized financial records.The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with data, and able to communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and verify 50+ vendor invoices per week, ensuring proper approvals, pricing accuracy, and general ledger codingPrepare and process vendor payments including checks, ACH, wire transfers, and credit card transactionsMaintain organized vendor payment files and supporting documentation in accordance with company procedures Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or open items with vendors and internal departmentsInvestigate and resolve invoice discrepancies in coordination with Purchasing and other departmentsAssist with month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and reportingGenerate reports and provide documentation for management, auditors, and other departments as neededSupport special projects and provide backup support to other accounting or office staff when neededQualifications1–2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting roleAssociate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft OfficeExperience working in an ERP or accounting system preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a high-volume environmentStrong communication, problem-solving and critical thinking skillsWhat Makes Someone Successful in This RoleStrong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepanciesAbility to follow structured processes while meeting deadlinesProfessional communication with vendors and internal departmentsComfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and accounting systemsBenefits:Comprehensive medical insurance plans including dental and visionCompany paid insurance packages: life insurance, short-term disability, and long term disability401k and HRA FundingCompany paid apparel with dry cleaningSafety shoe vouchersPaid time off, paid holidays and paid floating holidays to accommodate our diverse work environmentEmployee Assistance ProgramTuition reimbursementContinued education and professional developmentCompany paid job trainingFamily leaveEmployee discountsOn-site Micro MarketCompany family picnic and holiday partiesABOUT US:Polamer Precision Inc., is a global aerospace manufacturing company specializing in complex aerospace engine components for demanding applications.
