McPherson Concrete Storage Systems (MCSS) is seeking an Inside Sales / Sales Support Coordinator to support our sales, engineering, and construction teams. This role plays an important part in coordinating proposals, organizing project documentation, and assisting with the sales process to support project development and execution. Position SummaryThe Inside Sales / Sales Support Coordinator provides administrative and sales support to the Outside Sales Team, Engineering Team, and Vice President of Construction. This role plays a key part in preparing proposals, coordinating vendor pricing, organizing project documentation, and supporting the sales process from initial inquiry through project execution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment while supporting multiple projects simultaneously. This position reports directly to the Vice President of ConstructionKey ResponsibilitiesSales & Project SupportSupport the Outside Sales Team with pricing, proposals, and project documentation.Review proposals for accuracy and completeness prior to submission.Prepare formal written proposals using information from the Sales and Engineering teams.Procure competitive quotes from vendors and suppliers for bid proposal development.Ensure vendor pricing meets project plans and specifications.Coordinate engineering requests and route them to appropriate internal teams.Organize and maintain job folders and sales documentation.Track quotes, proposals, and project status using Monday.com software.Prepare schedules of values for projects and submit them to the accounting team for invoicing.Review construction invoices to verify accuracy against purchase orders and receiving tickets before management approval.Answer incoming construction-related calls and route inquiries to the appropriate team member.Coordinate meetings for the outside sales team with customers, contractors, and engineers.Conduct cold calls to potential customers, contractors, and engineers to identify leads or gauge interest in products and services.Provide general administrative and sales support as needed. Administrative & Other DutiesAssist management with social media development, including content and material preparation.Maintain memberships and coordinate registrations for industry organizations and trade shows as directed by management.Participate in all aspects of the MCC Safety Program.Perform other related duties as assigned. Experience in Inside Sales, Construction, or the Grain Industry preferredStrong organizational and administrative skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.High attention to detail and accuracy. Technical SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Understanding of Salesforce and Monday.com softwareFamiliarity with construction principles, materials, and methodsExperience with CAD or SolidWorks is beneficial but not required. Physical Demands & Working ConditionsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionallyOccasional travel may be required, including overnight travel for trade shows, seminars, customer locations, and job sites.Must be able to access and navigate job sites and construction areas when necessary.
