Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract position with a client in Houston, TX. This role requires a strong background in engineering design, technical analysis, and hands-on project execution. Candidates must have experience applying engineering principles to develop systems, components, and processes, along with the ability to troubleshoot technical challenges throughout project lifecycles.Rate Range: $70/hour to $71/hour on W2; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Engineer job responsibilities include:* Design and develop systems, components, or processes based on project specifications and requirements.* Conduct testing, analysis, and evaluations to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance.* Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to support project planning and execution.* Prepare technical documentation, reports, and drawings to communicate engineering concepts.* Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, proposing effective solutions.* Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.Desired Qualifications:* Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, or other approved engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.* Minimum of five (5) years' experience in utility design or related project construction design.* Professional Engineer (PE) License required.* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills with excellent attention to detail.* Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.* Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and data.* Effective communication and teamwork skills.* Strong organizational and time‐management abilities.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
