Applications for candidates in Arizona will be prioritized.Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:Conduct field investigations and perform failure/accident analysis on incidents involving all types of vehicles and related mechanical equipmentConduct vehicular accident reconstruction and mechanical failure analysis as a project leadPerform calculations, engineering analysis, computer analyses and simulations, and technical reportingInvestigate design, safety and failure of machinery and mechanical systemsProvide technical findings and conclusions in layman's terms, both verbally and in writingMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshopsReview professional publications, establish personal networks and participate in professional societiesRegular and predictable physical presence in the office during training, with the exception of sitesPosition Requirements:B.S in Mechanical Engineering required, Master's Degree preferredP. E. registration through testingPrior forensic engineering experienceVehicular knowledge is requiredNHTSA, Forensic, Racing or Vehicle Safety background is a plusStrong written and oral communication skillsExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsPublic speaking experience is a plusPhysical Requirements:Travel and ability to drive to site locationsAbility to maneuver in and around an accident siteAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to effectively communicate with clients and colleaguesAbility to wear personal protective equipment as required by the work siteBenefits:Continuing forensic trainingMedical coverageDental & vision coverage401(k) with company matchPaid vacation, sick days and holidaysCompany-paid STD, LTD and life insuranceTuition Reimbursement ProgramBonus ProgramSalary for this role will be: $125,000+.
