Program ManagerThe Program Manager is a leader in the residential program, ensuring that all respective activities support the children and team in the effective, safe, and therapeutic operation of the residence and campus operations. The goal is to provide quality supports and services to all youth within the program and to ensure the highest quality of care and safety for the children and staff.Hours of Program Manager: Sunday-Thursday 9am-5pm with flexibility as neededEssential Duties of Program ManagerKey duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:Working closely with the Director and Assistant Director of Residential as well as other program leadership to ensure appropriate day-to-day operations of the residence and residential program overallUnderstand, reinforce, role-model and consistently use all Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training and techniquesAlways ensure appropriate supervision to all residents and staff to optimize safetyDevelop and maintain staffing schedules and appropriate staffing ratiosParticipate actively in all aspects of recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training of Assistant Program Managers, Direct Support Professionals (DSP's) and other residential staff as neededConsistently monitor staff performance of all staff providing feedback, instruction, support, modeling, and/or corrective action as neededHave advanced knowledge of crisis assessment & intervention, and be available to staff as needed during emergency situationsAssist in monitoring budget and spending, including petty cash, to ensure the best use of resources to meet program needsResponsible for assessing the individual needs of each resident, assessing group dynamics and providing therapeutic support to each child or group of children to ensure safe delivery of services as well as structured programming for the residence.Assure that all required documentation remains updated, available and all staff are actively provided with training to ensure accurate information guides treatment.Work collaboratively with Clinicians, Behaviorists, Recreation therapists, Trainers, Administrative departments etc. to support the needs of the children and staffSupports overall strategic plan of the organizationAbility to adhere to our organization's core values and commitmentsEssential Qualifications of Program ManagerKey qualifications include:High School diploma with 3+ years direct support experience w/children or adults with developmental or behavioral disabilities2+ years of administrative/supervisory experienceStrong oral and written communication skillsMust always model professionalism and be able to keep composure during crisisAbility to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary teamAbility to access and utilize ADP app on smartphone or other device for access to our agency programs.Benefits Of Program ManagerGenerous PTO, 4 weeks of vacation, floating holidays, holidays, personal and sick timeHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Benefits401(k) Employer ContributionsTuition ReimbursementFlex Spending AccountsEmployer Paid STD, LTD and Life InsuranceProfessional DevelopmentPhysical/Travel RequirementsMust have ability to reach, walk, sit, climb stairs, bend, and lift up to 30lbs independently. Valid Driver's License (3+ years) required for transport; license must be maintained in good standing throughout employment.Must be able to work flexible schedule in partnership with other Program Managers, Assistant Program Managers and Direct Support Professionals to ensure staffing requirements and needs are met. This includes early mornings, late evenings, day shifts, weekends and during times of crisis.Must participate in and maintain certification in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training. All staff will be evaluated on conducting a proper physical restraint upon hire and periodically throughout employment.
