Position: P-Occupational Therapist AssistantSalary Range: $31-33 per hourHours: 35 hours per week, Monday-FridayWeekend Rotation: NoneSign-On and Relocation Assistance: Available for qualified applicantsWe are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a P-Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our Occupational Therapists to help clients improve their daily living and work skills. You will play a crucial role in assisting clients with disabilities or injuries to regain their independence and improve their overall quality of life.Key Responsibilities:- Assist Occupational Therapists in evaluating clients' needs and developing individualized treatment plans- Implement treatment plans under the direction of Occupational Therapists- Monitor and record clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans- Educate clients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to improve daily living skills- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physical therapists and speech therapists, to provide comprehensive care for clients- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all treatments and progress notes- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of practice in the field of occupational therapyRequirements:- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program- Current state license or certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care- Knowledge of various treatment techniques and equipment used in occupational therapy- Willingness to continue learning and staying updated on advancements in the field of occupational therapyWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as a supportive and collaborative work environment.
