We help the world's biggest and brightest brands across practically every industry.Job SummaryThe Process Control & Instrumentation Systems Engineer serves as an Electrical Design Engineer responsible for developing basic and detailed engineering design packages for electrical distribution systems in a process plant environment. This role includes designing LV/MV power distribution systems, MCCs, panels, substations, and grounding systems in compliance with NEC, UL508A, IEEE, and NFPA 70E standards, while coordinating with clients, vendors, and construction teams. The engineer also supports field execution and start-up activities to ensure safe and successful project completion.Job DescriptionWork as an Electrical Engineer and develop design of electrical distribution system for process plant in Iowa CityDevelop basic and detailed engineering design packages for power distribution systemDiscus with client to align on the project scope.Collect the required inputs required for developing the required Engineering packages.Coordinate with various vendors and site construction team for completion of the design packages.Provide support to construction team for start-up activities.Skills RequiredShould have worked as an Electrical Design Engineer designing electrical distribution system for process plants.Should have Knowledge in preparing detail design package for Electrical equipment.Experienced in LV Electrical Distribution Design Power Distribution Panels, Motor Control Centers for process plants in compliance with NEC.Sound Knowledge of NEC, UL508A and IEEE standards pertaining to electrical equipment.Should have knowledge in generating specifications for MV substations, Transformers, 480V panels, MCC, VFDs, Distribution panels, Lighting and grounding design.Knowledge of Cable sizing, conduit sizing, power and control panel design, lighting calculation, grounding design, cable tray sizing, cable tray layout design.Develop Engineering information packages, bill of materials, elementary drawings, single line drawings, equipment arrangement.Knowledge on Electrical Safety requirements.Trained and qualified in NFPA70E requirements.Education/Training/CertificationsHigh School Degree or GEDBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
