Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Gainesville, VA at an outpatient facility where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Apply now and a recruiter will reach out with more details. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA. Active Virginia state physical therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred. Experience treating general orthopedic patient population required. Experience with lymphedema or physical/lymphedema specialty is a plus (preferred). Productivity experience consistent with seeing 12–14 patients per day and achieving approximately 60 visits per week is preferred. Must be able to work a guaranteed 36 hours with expectation to work up to 40 hours; any overtime must be approved by the director prior to working (client requirement). PT (not PTA). First-time travelers accepted. New graduates not accepted. Ability to double-book follow-up visits and manage a high-volume outpatient schedule. Assignment Details Facility Type: Outpatient. Shift Name: Days. Shift Type: 8-hour day shift. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week with expectation to work up to 40 hours. Productivity expectation: approximately 60 visits per week; typically 12–14 patients per day with double-booking of follow-up visits expected. OT (overtime) must be approved by the clinic director before being worked. Float requirement: No floating to other clinics (client requirement). Option to be part of a Travel Team in this clinic or a neighboring clinic is available.
