Warehouse Associate (Shipping)

Job Summary: Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment. This position reports directly to the Shipping Supervisor. Pulls and verifies orders accurately in preparation for prompt shipment. Ability to input data on computer. Good visual acuity to inspect shipments. Compares identifying information and quantities on the packing slip against the purchase order, counts items for verification, and indicates any discrepancies. Must be able to operate a forklift. Required Skills/Abilities: Educational requirements only where applicable. Familiarity with basic computer operations & programs such as Microsoft Office; Excel, Word and Outlook. Bilingual preferred but not required. Physical Requirements: Indicates sales order number on the shipping ticket and attaches it to the box. Packages orders for out-of-town shipments. Performs any other duties and assignments as directed by management. Assists in warehouse maintenance. Reports any discrepancies to supervisor. Physical strength to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Represents Omega Environmental Technologies in an ethical, professional and responsible manner.
