BrukerAXS iin Madison, WI is looking for a Safety and Compliance Coordinatorto ensure compliance with all company directed safety policies.Effective communication and cross-functional teamwork are required. Thisposition is also responsible for managing our contracted maintenanceprovider requiring frequent discussions concerning building repairs andProjects. Responsibilities Perform All Health And Safety Functions,training and enforcement. Make sure we are up to date with customers\'safety plat-forms, so we are able to visit customers sites. In-houseRadiation Officer The RSO also manages and maintains personal employeesafety equipment. Monitoring equipment such as Monitor 4\'s anddosimetry badges. The RSO makes sure that all equipment is certified andcalibrated at safe intervals. Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring allactivities involving radioactive materials and radiation producingequipment adhere to national and international standards andregulations. Radiation Protection Programs: Developing, implementing,and maintaining programs to minimize radiation exposure to workers andthe environment Training and education: Provide training and educationto employees on radiation safety principles, practices, and regulatoryrequirements. Monitoring and surveillance: monitor activities to ensureradiation levels in work areas remain withing the safe limit. EmergencyProcedures: Develop and enforce radiation safety protocols and emergencyprocedures. Safety Audits: Conduct routine safety audits to identify andcorrect safety issues.
