Job Requirements
Enthusiastically selling the hotels to groups, corporate and leisure segments.
Working with management to develop and implement marketing/sales strategies and goals that drive measurable incremental occupancy, increase average rates, and increase volume.
Review monthly reports and sales forecasts to analyze current/potential market and sales trends, coordinate activities to increase revenue and market share and monitor performance to ensure actual sales meet or exceed established revenue plan.
Educate, train and motivate teams to achieve hotels revenue goals.
Prepare and implement an annual Marketing Plan for the hotels.
Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community; may serve as the hotels representative for media-related inquiries.
Maintaining client base of key accounts.
Making regular outside sales calls, site tours, prospecting and networking to secure new business and maintain contact with existing clients/accounts.
Work closely with key business leaders, officials and representatives of local community groups within the city to ensure constant high-profile exposure for the hotels.
Assisting General Managers with department head and staff meetings to review upcoming activities, revenue management, review potential opportunities and discuss areas of performance.
Must possess leadership skills in guest service, associated relations and hotel sales management in addition to possessing exceptional organizational/time management skills and exceptional computer and networking business skills.
Must possess extraordinary verbal and written communication skills, be self-motivated, possess a strong work ethic and be resourceful.
Ability to multi-task and problem solve with a positive attitude, taking ownership and going the extra mile.
Additional job requirements:
Bachelor's degree/equivalent in marketing and related field and minimum three years' experience in the hospitality industry.
Minimum 2 years sales experience.
Exceptional people skills with the talent to build relationships.
