Overview We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Laborer to join our dynamic logistics team. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, safety awareness, and experience in warehouse operations. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in heavy equipment operation, materials handling, and warehouse management systems while contributing to a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Responsibilities Load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks, clamp trucks, forklifts, and cranes, adhering to safety protocols. Perform order picking with RF scanners and other warehouse management system tools to ensure accurate fulfillment. Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks safely and efficiently. Handle materials with care during shipping and receiving processes, ensuring proper storage and inventory accuracy. Assist with inventory management by organizing stock, conducting cycle counts, and maintaining accurate records. Support warehouse supervisors in maintaining a safe work environment by following OSHA guidelines and reporting hazards. Participate in the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring timely movement of goods while minimizing damage. Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform routine maintenance when necessary. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse distribution processes. Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred. Proficiency with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for order picking and inventory control. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards applicable to warehouse environments. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or moving. Basic understanding of shipping & receiving procedures, materials handling, and load/unload operations. Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently. This position is vital for maintaining operational excellence within our warehouse.
