This role is responsible for delivering comprehensive HR services across employee relations, performance management, compliance, talent acquisition support, leave administration, compensation processes, and employee engagement initiatives. The position operates with a high degree of autonomy and is expected to provide consultative guidance to managers while ensuring alignment with company policies, regulatory requirements, and enterprise objectives.What will you need to be successful in the role:4 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably within healthcare.Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to draft objectives, professional corrective action plans and PIPs; proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., UKG, Workday, or ADP) for tracking leaves and maintaining meticulous digital employee records.Expert organizational, task-management, creativity, verbal and written communication and presentation skills.Comprehensive knowledge of all applicable federal, state and city employment and labor laws. (Must)Must be well organized, able to work under pressure and handle several projects at one time meeting deadlines.Strong foundational knowledge of federal and state employment laws (including FLSA, EEOC, and NLRA) with specific experience in conducting fact-finding investigations and auditing disciplinary documentation to ensure legal defensibility.A minimum of 3–5 years of direct experience managing complex FMLA, ADA, and multi-state leave of absence cases, with a proven track record of successfully navigating the "interactive process" for workplace accommodations.Demonstrated experience in coordinating employee benefits programs and leading organizational wellness initiatives designed to drive engagement and improve employee health outcomesJoin our team as we strive for excellence through teamwork, where our patients are #1!IHCS is an equal opportunity employer.
