In this role, you will be responsible for verifying insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility for patients while ensuring accurate and timely processing of insurance information.Verify patient insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility prior to medical servicesCommunicate effectively with insurance providers, patients, and healthcare staffUpdate and maintain accurate patient insurance informationResearch and resolve insurance verification discrepanciesDocument all verification activities and maintain detailed recordsFollow up on pending insurance verificationsEnsure compliance with healthcare regulations and insurance requirementsAssist in identifying and resolving insurance-related issuesCoordinate with billing department for accurate claims processingQualifications 2+ years of experience in insurance verification or medical billingProficiency in medical billing software and insurance verification systemsStrong knowledge of healthcare insurance policies and proceduresExcellent data entry skills with high attention to detailProven experience with medical terminology and codingStrong organizational and time management abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredWorking knowledge of healthcare compliance regulationsDemonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentialityStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAdditional Information At Ability Rehabilitation, we believe in fostering a rewarding and supportive work environment.
