Job Title: Network Authentication Administration Level 2 Location: Woodlawn, Maryland Type: Contract Contractor Work Model: HybridResponsibilitiesAnalyze current network configurations and determine implementation requirements.Configure routing protocols, complex switch networks, and Fabric Path configurationsPrepare network equipment for deployment by loading appropriate software and configuration setting according to pre-engineered design templates.Assemble required equipment, cables, adapters, etc., and arrange delivery to site for installation.Upgrade configuration of existing network equipment to support new features and functions.Work with field installation contractors while they are on-site and provide all technical details to complete installations.Continuously review the customer's network and practices to identify opportunities to enhance functionality, performance, and reliability.Assist in evaluating potential network products or technical solutions.Test LAN/WAN and WLAN equipment software (i.e., IOS, NXOS).Contribute to the development of network documentation, including diagrams, standards, specifications, and operating procedures.Monitor for opportunities to enhance network/system performance or reliability.Monitor for opportunities to improve customer service delivery practices.RequirementsBS/BA with 8 years of experience, MS/MA with 6 years of experience, or 3 years with PhD, or High School Diploma with 11 years of related experience in lieu of degree requirement.Must have 4 years’ experience administering and using the Cisco ISE platform.Must have 4 years of experience in a System Administration discipline managing VMware vCenter, Unix/Linux, and Windows platforms.At least 4 years’ experience with Cisco router and switch configuration commands and configuring network authentication using TACACS and RADIUS protocols.Minimum 4 years’ experience configuring management tools using SNMP protocol and Microsoft Active Directory user account administration.At least 3 years’ experience with Python scripting language.Must have Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification.Must be located within commuting distance to Baltimore, MD to support on-site requirements 2-3 times a week.Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
