OpportunityPropel Schools is seeking a Girls' Head Varsity Volleyball Coach for the 26-27 season starting this Fall:Propel Andrew Street High School/Propel Braddock Hills High SchoolPropel Montour High SchoolSuccessful Candidates Will HavePrior Varsity or Junior Varsity coaching experiencePreferred candidates will have experience as a head coach, playing experience, as well as the demonstrated ability to build a successful program starting at the varsity levelResponsibility for assembling his/her coaching staffExperience coordinating the Varsity program with the assistant coach and athletic directorExperience implementing off-season programs in accordance with WPIAL/PIAA regulations.Willingness and ability to attend all required PIAA preseason coaching meetings and mandatory coaching certification/trainings in compliance with PIAA regulations.High level of personal organization and planningStrong communication and relationship building skillsWillingness to participate in ongoing professional developmentA commitment to the Promising Principles of PropelSeason InformationThe 2026-2027 volleyball season is scheduled is scheduled to begin on August 17th, 2026 and is anticipated to conclude in November, although the season may end earlier depending on if the team participates in postseason.This position includes a seasonal stipend of $3,500. Please note that the stipend will be prorated for coaches who begin after the official start of the season.
