With offices located throughout Canada, and as a signatory to local, national, and international labor union agreements, PULLMAN has the track record and the experience to meet our customers' specialty contracting needs.Recruiting for the position of an Administrative Assistant, the successful candidate would be based out of our Los Angeles office in Anaheim, CA. In this position you will be an essential part of assisting the division's daily operations with accountability for travel coordination, accounts payable, data entry, electronic document control and overall division administrative responsibilities.The successful candidate will also be responsible for:Working cross functionally to support administrative operations in various systems including Salesforce and ProcoreMaintaining common work areas including meeting and break roomsTraining on payroll processing and accounts payable proceduresAssisting with event planning by setting up the office or making external arrangementsOrdering supplies for office, safety and operational divisionsAssisting with new hire processingAssisting with equipment trackingParticipating in appropriate team meetingsAll other duties not listed shall be assigned upon employment and growth in the positionCandidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this position:Minimum High School Diploma3+ years of previous administration experienceStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook essential) to create, respond to inquiries and develop and maintain spreadsheets for various operational tasks.Comfortable learning new software programsExperienced with AP/AR and payrollExcellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and time-management skillsFlexible, skilled at multi-tasking and detail-orientedPreference given to those experienced working with UnionsPreference given to those who have or are open to obtaining Notary LicenseOur ideal candidate is an innovative individual who can work effectively in a highly collaborative, team-based environment; can set goals and expectations; is approachable, empathetic and outgoing; can quickly gain trust and respect; and is able to establish and maintain relationships.Anticipated pay range of $30-34/hour based off of education and experience.PULLMAN is proud of a company culture that promotes 24/7 safety and quality.
