Job Description SummaryThe Lead Manufacturing Shop Scheduling Specialist will be responsible for creating a comprehensive and attainable schedule that incorporates shop capacity, material inputs, and customer need for the production teams to execute. The scheduler will also support the production teams in execution of the plan and adjusting the schedule as needed.Job DescriptionEssential Duties & Responsibilities:Create production schedule for the production teams to execute and support execution.Communicate with customer facing teams to incorporate customer needs in the plan and provide updates to scheduleLead planning meetings across a cross-functional team to review production progress against schedule needs to identify critical path itemsConsolidate information flow and develop a systematic way to report status and updatesWork across all the production teams on-site to ensure schedule is realistic with capacity constraintsEnsure system accuracy for dates and other data in multiple systemsSupport shop schedule attainment by working closely with the production teams on removing roadblocks to hit milestones and daily/ weekly targetsLead Lean/ Continuous Improvement projects across the shop tied to business critical problemsBasic Qualifications/RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in relevant fields such as engineering or supply chain AND 2-3 years of experience in material planning and schedulingORHigh School Diploma / GED AND 4+ years of experience in material planning and schedulingExcellent oral and written communication skillsEffective interpersonal and leadership skills to influence across the organizationStrong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage information flow and create comprehensive outputAbility to make decisions in a complex environment of conflicting priorities with problem solving and collaborationAbility to root cause issues that arise and implement Lean / Continuous Improvement projects to resolve the root causeHigh level of proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel)Desired CharacteristicsLean and/or continuous improvement mindset, Green Belt or Black Belt certificationExperience working with Aero-Derivative Gas Turbines/Aviation engine and module configurationsKnowledge of/proficiency in Oracle ERP or TableauAbout Us: Aero Alliance is a Joint Venture that serves three segments of customers – its two parent companies, Baker Hughes and GE Vernova, as well as the Authorized Service Providers (ASP) network. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
