JOD DESCRIPTIONClassification: NonexemptSalary Range: $ 26.75 pr hr.Reports to: Transportation ManagerDate:December 2025This CDL Driver is responsible for transporting food, beverages, and catering supplies to and from various airline locations. This role involves ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining vehicle safety standards, and adhering to all regulations related to food safety and transportation.Essential Functions :Load Catering Vehicle according to off loading specificationsEnsure airline is correctly catered and all equipment is in placeLoad and unload aircraft in a safe and efficient mannerOff load vehicles at facility to ensure efficient processing of airline equipmentVerify meal carts based on Flight configurationVerify flight for completeness to ensure your carts are completeMonitor temperatures of carts to ensure HACCP complianceWork with dispatcher for airline times and flight schedulesDrive safely to ensure no accidents occurFollow Airport transportation driving rules for speed limits and safetyConduct vehicle checks to ensure proper maintenance of vehicleReport all vehicle repairs on transportation log and to managementEnsure proper operation of vehicle when loading and unloading aircraftIn-house flight verification onlyAbility to work flexible hours, any day of the weekJob Qualifications: Minimum 5 years' experience in the field operations -airlines experience a plusGood understanding of aircraft galleys and In-Flight Catering a plusCustoms seal requirement and TSA.Ability to work as a team member.Able to lift, push and pull at least 50 lbs.Bilingual, Spanish & English requiredCDL LicenseOther duties may be assigned Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position has non-supervisory responsibilities.
