Electrical Engineer

Dizario Search has been hired by their client, an industry-leading manufacturer, to identify an Electrical Engineer in Ashtabula County, OH. This role collaborates cross-functionally with mechanical engineers and designers to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions that meet customer specifications and operational requirements. The position offers hands-on involvement in design, testing, prototyping, and system integration within a manufacturing environment supporting mission-critical applications.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop control systems, power distribution systems, and electrical components including VFDs, contactors, and PCBAs.Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, wire lists, and 2D/3D electrical layouts using tools such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integration, enclosure design, and product development.Manage design documentation including BOMs, revision control (PDM/PLM), and ERP system updates (SAP preferred).Execute engineering projects from concept through production, ensuring designs meet cost, manufacturability, and performance requirements.Conduct testing, analysis, and prototyping while identifying risks and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering3+ years of relevant experienceExperience with electrical system design including schematics, wiring diagrams, and control systemsProficiency with engineering tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PDM/PLM systems, and ERP software
