Warehouse Sorter- 1st shift

WAREHOUSE SORTER - This position will be responsible for sorting out completed packages that have been inputted into the system by loggers, and placing packages in their specified location within our racking system or within our inventory. The Sorter position has varying hours according to operational business needs and daily inbound volumes, to include occasional overtime work on both evenings and weekends as required.Our first shift runs from Tuesday- Saturday, 7:00 am to 3:45 pm, offering $18.50 per hour. Due to business demands or peak season, overtime is required, with shifts up to 10 hours and work weeks up to 60 hours WHAT ELSE DOES MYUS.COM OFFER YOU? Walk through all areas of login and stations as well as package support areas to retrieve packages Align and place racks from previous shift, keep racks neatly organized with labels facing out Place empty racks in proper locations with correct labels and materials Pre-sort through packages off conveyer belt and place packages on the corresponding racks to be placed in the inventory area Pick up and sort through heavy pallets from login areas Provide receiving team with bins to place smaller packages Monitor conveyer belt is working properly and no packages are hindering flow of conveyer belt Sweep and remove any debris from work area Maintains a safe and clean work environment by following all procedures, rules, and regulations Assure safety standards are being utilized Exude exemplary customer service and consistently maintain a positive attitude Comfortable reaching, bending, and crouching repeatedly Ability to work in an open-air warehouse Able to lift 20 - 49 pounds constantly, from 50 up to 100 on occasion with assistance Flexible with overtime during our peak seasons Ability to read, write and speak English fluently Able to successfully meet our pre-employment drug screen and criminal background screen Highschool diploma or GED MORE ABOUT MYUS.COM: For over 20 years, consumers around the globe have trusted MyUS.com to provide a simple, reliable way to shop US online stores and ship their purchases worldwide.
