Demand Generation Manager
ABOUT USCollabDocs connects NPs, PAs, and the organizations that employ them with vetted, engaged collaborating physicians from the nation’s largest network. Whether you’re a solo clinician launching your first independent practice or an organization managing providers across multiple states and specialties, we help you establish and maintain the relationships critical to success. Beyond the match, CollabDocs stays involved to keep each collaboration compliant, active, and built for growth by providing ongoing support, resources, and access to a growing professional community.ABOUT THE ROLECollabDocs is looking for a hands-on growth marketer whose favorite question is: “What can we test next?” This is not a traditional marketing manager opportunity. You will not inherit a large team, spend your days managing agencies or build presentations about what marketing might do someday. You will personally build campaigns, launch experiments, analyze results and continuously find better ways to generate qualified opportunities. We want a digital marketing wizard with an operator’s mentality: fast, inventive, commercially driven and comfortable working in a high-pressure, high-accountability environment. You may have worked in a private equity-backed company, high-growth startup, turnaround or another organization where performance was measured every day and excuses did not count. You are confident and unafraid to challenge the status quo, but always data-driven. You move fast, challenge conventional wisdom and try things others haven’t considered. You also know how to measure results, learn quickly and double down when something works. This role reports directly to the Marketing Operations Manager and is an individual-contributor position with no direct reports. You will have autonomy to drive your workstream forward, with access to leadership and one clear mission: create a predictable engine of qualified demand - all within a highly collaborative team environment where communication and alignment with other initiatives are key.Within your first 30 days, you will:Establish trustworthy tracking, attribution and performance benchmarks.Develop a clear understanding of our customers, competitors and sales process.Launch multiple campaigns and create an active testing pipeline.Identify early channel, audience, and messaging winners.Begin producing measurable, sales-accepted opportunities.Within your first 90 days, you will:Build a repeatable and scalable demand-generation engine.Consistently deliver qualified opportunities to the sales team.Lower the cost of acquiring those opportunities.Create a culture of fast, disciplined experimentation.Demonstrate a clear connection between marketing investment, pipeline and revenue.WHAT YOU’LL DOPersonally build and optimize paid search, paid social, retargeting, and website conversions. This work will run in tandem with our paid media agency, with the expectation that this person may need to step in and execute directly when called for it.Develop and execute CollabDocs’ lead-generation strategy.Rapidly test audiences, offers, messaging, channels, creative and conversion paths.Monitor performance daily and quickly shift budget toward what works.Generate qualified sales opportunities—not simply clicks, impressions or form submissions.Use AI aggressively to accelerate research, content development, campaign creation, personalization, testing and analysis.Build landing pages, workflows and campaigns without waiting for a large internal team.Improve conversion rates throughout the journey from initial click to sales opportunity.Partner closely with sales to define lead quality, improve follow-up and understand which opportunities become customers.Build accurate attribution and reporting around cost per lead, cost per qualified opportunity, marketing-sourced pipeline and customer acquisition cost.Identify new growth opportunities before competitors do.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORExperience:We care more about demonstrated performance than a particular number of years or a specific degree. However, strong candidates will generally bring:Five or more years of digital, growth or performance marketing experience.B2C/SMB/DTC lead-generation experience is preferred.Have significant hands-on experience in performance marketing, growth marketing or demand generation.Have personally managed paid media campaigns—not simply supervised an agency.Understand Google Ads, paid social, retargeting, landing-page optimization, email automation, analytics and attribution.Evidence of personally building campaigns that generated measurable pipeline or revenue.Experience managing meaningful paid media budgets.Strong command of marketing analytics, CRM systems and automation platforms (HubSpot, GA4, SEMRush).Hands-on experience with CRO tools (Clarity, Convert, Optimizely, or something similar). You might be a great fit if you:Can write strong copy, develop offers, interpret data and make campaign changes yourself. Are highly fluent in AI tools and constantly experiment with new technology.Thrive when goals are ambitious, results are visible and the pace is fast. Are comfortable making decisions with incomplete information.Naturally think in terms of testing, conversion rates, acquisition costs, pipeline and revenue. Can distinguish productive experimentation from random activity.Take ownership when something fails, extract the lesson and move immediately to the next test.Prefer building and doing over holding meetings and creating presentations. Can work collaboratively with sales while still challenging assumptions.Possess an unusual combination of creativity, analytical thinking and competitive drive.Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus. You may not enjoy this role if you:Need a large team or agency to execute your ideas.Prefer long planning cycles before launching anything.Measure success primarily through impressions, engagement or website traffic. Are uncomfortable having your results reviewed frequently.Wait for detailed instructions before taking action.Want a traditional director role centered on managing people.Believe “brand awareness” is an adequate answer when pipeline is falling short.WHY JOIN USBe rewarded.
