The Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, interpreting blueprints, maintaining precision and tolerances, and performing quality checks. Additional responsibilities include understanding technical specifications, troubleshooting equipment issues, and collaborating with the engineering team to optimize machining processes. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and contributing to the overall efficiency of the production workflow. Qualifications Proficiency in operating and setting up CNC 3, 4, and 5-axis machining equipmentAbility to interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and specificationsExperience with precision measurement tools and quality control processesFamiliarity with CAD software programs, such as CATIA V5, and simulation tools like VericutStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsUnderstanding of aerospace industry standards and requirements is a plusExcellent attention to detail and the ability to work with tight tolerancesHigh school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification in machining is preferredStrong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
