Sales Lead Generation Specialist (Commercial Solar/Renewables)
Job DescriptionPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Support grant applications (USDA REAP, DOE IAC, Solar for All) Support Lead Generation efforts through canvassing and direct outreach to potential clients Prepare estimate snapshots and budgeting calculators for each project as required. Prepare budgetary communications and/or full proposals as required. Provide support on lighting retrofit rebate process as needed by the client. Support any phases of the project execution process as required. Prepare site layout documents for proper engineering plan sets. Use modeling software and third-party proprietary software to estimate project bill of materials. Conduct outbound calls to generate leads and set up appointments for the sales team Utilize telemarketing techniques to engage with potential clients Maintain accurate records of interactions with prospects in the CRM system Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads Stay up to date on product knowledge and industry trends to effectively communicate with prospects. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Some interest in and working knowledge of renewable energy and/or LED lighting projects is preferred. Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
