Executive Assistant
DescriptionInterCapital is an Austin-based hedge fund focused on long/short equity investing across public markets. The firm is seeking an Executive Assistant to support its Founder & CEO across both professional responsibilities and personal/family operations. This is a high-trust, high-impact role for someone who is extremely organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will serve as the central point of coordination across the Founder’s professional and personal life — managing schedules, travel, communications, logistics, vendors, and ongoing priorities. The role will generally be approximately 60–70% professional / InterCapital support and 30–40% personal, although that mix may vary week to week.Responsibilities Own and proactively manage the calendar and scheduling.Coordinate meetings with investors, prospective investors, service providers, management teams and other external relationships.Protect focused work time and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts.Manage business travel, including flights, hotels, transportation, itineraries and last-minute changes.Coordinate meeting logistics, dinners, conferences and events.Prepare concise meeting materials, background information and logistical briefs when appropriate.Track follow-ups, commitments and outstanding action items.Assist with administrative email management and routine correspondence.Maintain organized records for important contacts, travel information, reservations, memberships and recurring obligations.Work closely with other members of the InterCapital team to ensure the Founder’s priorities are executed efficiently. What Success Looks LikeThe right person will become someone the Founder can rely on to take an objective and independently figure out how to execute it. Rather than waiting for detailed instructions, this person should naturally think: What needs to happen next, who needs to handle it, and how can I get it done. Over time, the Executive Assistant should develop a strong understanding of preferences, priorities and working style, allowing routine decisions to be handled independently.
