INDISTRICT - 2026 ESY Special Education Coordinator
INDISTRICT only, meaning only current regular and temporary employees are eligible to apply. We anticipate this position will include planning and coordination activities beginning June 12 through August 15, 2026. The total number of days is anticipated to be ~25 days; additional days may be added based on funding and need for ESY program. This role involves collaborating with the Special Education Director and other Summer learning directors to identify program, student needs and supports, and staff training and support needs.Key responsibilities include: assessing professional development requirements, providing consultation to staff on ESY-related matters, supporting staff with the implementation of health, safety, and behavior support plans, and ensuring timely and accurate data collection and submission of ESY progress reports upon program completion.If you have questions about this position, please contact Kelly Running.Qualifications:The minimum qualification for a teacher is possession of an Oregon Teaching License issued by the Oregon Teachers Standards and Practices Commission with a Special Education - Generalist endorsement. Pay will be based on your 2025/26 hourly per diem rate of pay for working in this summer school coordinator position.Prefer applicants having prior experience working with special education students and organizing ESY programming.Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly desired; preference will be given to Licensed applicants who are bilingual.
