Overview: The Completions (Frac) Consultant serves as the onsite Operations Supervisor and operator representative, responsible for overseeing daily completions activities on an active frac fleet. This role provides leadership and oversight for safety, operational execution, and cost control while coordinating with service partners to ensure work is performed in compliance with company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The position is rotational, safety-sensitive, and field-based in Midland, TX. Responsibilities: Act as the onsite operator representative overseeing completions operations on an active frac fleet Lead and enforce safety expectations, policies, and procedures for all onsite personnel and service providers Coordinate and supervise completions activities, including: Hydraulic fracturing operations Coil tubing operations Wireline activities Snubbing operations Flowback operations Ensure execution of work plans in alignment with approved programs, schedules, and budgets Monitor daily operational performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed Interface directly with service companies to manage scope, execution, and performance Oversee cost control and operational efficiency, ensuring activities align with approved spending Review, approve, and verify daily reports, invoices, and operational documentation Utilize client-required systems for time, cost, and operational tracking (e.g., OpenInvoice) Maintain clear communication with operations, engineering, and management teams Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and company requirements Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of completions experience within oil and gas operations, as an Operator and/or Service Partner Hands-on experience with: Hydraulic fracturing Coil tubing Wireline Snubbing Flowback Prior experience serving as an onsite operations supervisor or operator representative strongly preferred College degree and/or prior military service preferred Onshore and/or offshore oil and gas experience Strong knowledge of safety management systems and field-based risk mitigation Proven ability to lead field operations and manage multiple service providers Experience with cost control, daily reporting, and invoice review Proficient with industry systems and reporting tools (OpenInvoice experience preferred) Ability to work a 14 days on / 14 days off rotational schedule Must be eligible for client IT access and required system credentials Safety-sensitive role requiring compliance with all applicable safety policies
