Packaging Line Operator Full-Time Opportunity $16hr for day shift $17hr for night shift 12-Hour Shifts Available Days: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, rotating 2-2-3 schedule Nights: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, rotating 2-2-3 schedule Are you looking for a hands-on manufacturing role where safety, quality, and teamwork are valued? We are seeking Temporary Packaging Line Operators to support production and packaging operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating packaging equipment, performing quality checks, maintaining production records, and ensuring products are packaged according to company standards. What You'll Do As a Packaging Line Operator, you will play a critical role in keeping production lines running safely and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements Load packaging materials, labels, cartons, and components onto production lines Start, stop, and monitor equipment according to established procedures Set and verify equipment centerlines to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime Perform routine quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications Identify and remove defective products from the production line Report equipment issues or quality concerns to supervisors and support teams Maintain accurate production and quality documentation Assist with line setup, product changeovers, and cleaning activities Support line clearance activities and ensure production readiness Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready work environment Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and work instructions Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals and schedules What We're Looking For Required Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills Ability to read and follow SOPs, safety procedures, and work instructions Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing production needs Preferred Experience Manufacturing, packaging, or production experience Experience operating liquid filling, capping, labeling, or packaging equipment Knowledge of GMPs and quality systems Experience performing equipment changeovers and basic preventative maintenance Familiarity with production documentation, batch records, and quality inspections Ability to identify and resolve minor mechanical issues Forklift, pallet jack, or other material handling equipment experience Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during a 12-hour shift Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Comfortable working around moving machinery and manufacturing equipment Ability to work overtime and weekends as business needs require Why Join Us?
