Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you’ll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.What You'll DoAccurately complete corresponding delivery paperwork and work with production, sales and customers to communicate issues with loads and delivery timeNo more than 1 moving violation in the previous 3 yearsNo on-road preventable accidents during the past (3) years as shown on the Motor Vehicle Road (MVR); accidents are reviewed by CMC LogisticsPass required D.O.T. and CMC Logistics drug testing programs and physicals as required by D.O.T.Perform additional duties as neededPerforms daily Pre-Trip, Inter-Trip, and Post Trip Inspections.Responsible for the delivery of products to customers, contractors, and jobsites throughout the location geographic regionValid Class A Commercial Driver License requiredWhat You'll NeedAbility to inspect vehicle(s) for any safety or operational defects using DOT, maintenance, and safety checklists and ensuring emergency equipment is in proper working orderDriver must be knowledgeable in D.O.T. Regulations/RequirementsEnsure vehicle is properly loaded and load secured and product is delivered safely and timelyFrequent physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs/ladders, works with chains, drops and hooks trailers, performs inspections and reaches to work with equipment throughout the entire shiftMinimum 2 years verifiable tractor/trailer experience required (3 years preferred)Must be able to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to work a flexible scheduleYour EducationWe are Commercial Metals Company, a Fortune 500 company with a family feel that's already part of your life.
