We are currently seeking local candidates based in Longview, TX or surrounding area. While we welcome applications from all qualified individuals, local candidates are preferred due to the nature of the role.SEND RESUME, CERTS AND OJT HOURS TO YENI.CRAIG@TICS.COMResponsibilitiesSet up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipmentConduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspectionEstablish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulationsApply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate resultsInterpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicatorsOrganize and report test resultsPerform specialized inspectionsMay instruct and supervise othersPerform other job-related tasks as assigned by managementSkillsHigh School Diploma or equivalentSome college preferredCertified Level IITechnical background in NDT methods and proceduresDemonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspectionsKnowledge of NDT equipmentExperience in report writingTIWC card preferredIRRSP card a plus40 Hour Radiation Safety TrainingIndustrial Radiographer State Card a plus/Trainee status idealBased in Longview, TX or surrounding area
