ACD-Level Art Director – Pharma Advertising
Job Description: Lead the art direction and visual concept development for integrated pharma and healthcare campaigns, from brand identity and design systems to omnichannel execution.Partner with an ACD-CW and other creative team members to develop big brand ideas.Translate strategic insights and medical content into compelling visual storytelling across layouts, mood boards, storyboards, presentations, and integrated campaign expressions—while staying compliant.Collaborate closely with copywriters to ensure cohesion between message and visual expression across every touchpoint.Direct and refine design across channels (digital, social, video, print, experiential, PR, email/CRM), adapting visual systems to audience and context.Present work confidently to internal stakeholders and clients, championing ideas with clear rationale, strong visual storytelling, and strategic clarity.Support production and help craft final assets for accuracy, craft, and fidelity to the idea through MLR, shoots, and final delivery.Requirements: 7–10+ years of art direction and design experience, with at least 3–5 years in healthcare/pharma agencies or brand activation communications.Portfolio and résumé that demonstrate your abilities developing big campaign ideas.Expertise in developing and art directing brand activations, digital storytelling, content capture, and experiential concepts.Understanding of FDA, legal, and medical review processes within pharma comms.Confident presentation and storytelling skills—able to articulate creative ideas visually and verbally.Collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced, idea-driven environment.Benefits: Spectrum is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.Spectrum is committed to providing access, equal opportunity, and reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities in employment, its services, programs, and activities.To request a reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, contact [email protected]
