Career & Technical Education Lead
OverviewThe CTE Lead provides senior‑level implementation, coaching, and facilitation support for the Alaska Career Guide and Regional CTE Coordination project. This role supports Career Guides, districts, and partners through ongoing mentoring, professional development delivery, implementation problem‑solving, and facilitation of regional collaboration aligned to Alaska’s workforce and postsecondary priorities. The position is structured as a per diem contingent role to align senior expertise with variable, project‑driven needs defined in the approved workplan and RFP. You Will Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and technical assistance to Career Guides to support consistent implementation and fidelity to the Alaska Career Guide model Facilitate monthly Career Guide implementation meetings and support structured student‑facing Lunch & Learn sessions Deliver components of the annual professional development plan, including onboarding and mentoring for new Career Guides and districts Identify and address implementation challenges using KPI data, practitioner feedback, and coaching insights Support regional CTE coordination by facilitating cross‑district collaboration conversations and exploration of shared services or consortium approaches Contribute to development of regional CTE alignment guidance, tools, and frameworks Support planning and facilitation of statewide convenings, including the Career Guide Professional Development Convening and other leadership or stakeholder engagements Collaborate closely with project management and facilitation staff to ensure alignment with timelines, deliverables, and DEED priorities You Have Demonstrated leadership experience in career pathways, CTE, postsecondary transitions, or workforce‑aligned education systems Experience providing coaching, professional development, and implementation support across multiple districts or organizations Strong understanding of district‑level operations and cross‑entity coordination Proven facilitation and relationship‑building skills in multi‑stakeholder environments Experience using implementation or outcome data to support continuous improvement Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Compensation DetailsThe hourly rate for this role is $90 - $120 per hour. This rate range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting.
