HR & Talent Manager
We're looking for a hands-on HR & Talent Manager who thrives in dynamic, fast-moving environments and genuinely enjoys the full breadth of the people function. This is not a purely strategic role — you'll roll up your sleeves and own execution across hiring, performance, onboarding, and culture.You're organized, people-first, and not afraid to build processes from scratch. You understand that in a growing company, how we hire, how we welcome new team members, and how we hold each other accountable defines who we are.What You'll OwnHiring & Talent AcquisitionPartner with hiring managers to define roles, craft job descriptions, and build structured interview processesOwn the full-cycle recruiting pipeline — sourcing, screening, coordinating, and closingBuild and refine interview scorecards and consistent evaluation criteria across teamsManage relationships with external recruiters and job platforms as neededOnboardingDesign and continuously improve a repeatable, engaging new hire onboarding experienceCoordinate logistics across teams to ensure new employees ramp quickly and feel welcomedGather feedback to iterate and improve the onboarding program over timePerformance & Review ProcessesBuild and manage semi-annual or quarterly performance review cyclesTrain managers on giving effective feedback and conducting productive reviewsEstablish goal-setting frameworks (OKRs or equivalent) in partnership with leadershipSupport managers in handling performance improvement plans when neededCulture & Employee ExperienceChampion a cohesive, values-aligned culture as the company scalesRun employee engagement surveys and translate results into actionOrganize team rituals, recognition programs, and culture touchpointsServe as a trusted, neutral resource for employee concerns and conflict resolutionHR OperationsMaintain accurate employee records, compliance documentation, and HR systemsManage benefits administration and open enrollment coordinationEnsure compliance with applicable labor laws and employment regulationsOwn the employee handbook and keep policies currentRequirements3-6 years of HR management experience, ideally in a startup, scale-up, or fast-paced SMB environmentDemonstrated experience owning hiring processes end-to-end — not just supporting themTrack record building or improving HR programs from the ground upStrong interpersonal skills — you're approachable, trustworthy, and directComfort operating with ambiguity; you don't wait for a perfect playbookHighly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detailFamiliarity with HRIS platforms, ATS tools, and basic compliance requirementsNice to HaveExperience in healthcare, tech, or regulated industriesPHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent certificationExperience supporting a remote or hybrid workforceComfort with data — using metrics to tell the story of your HR programsBenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k with company match)Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)Work From HomeStock Option Plan
