The role requires coordination across DEP programs and external agencies to streamline workflows, eliminate redundancies, and reduce permitting backlogs in alignment with Executive Order No. 5.Preferred Skill SetStrong knowledge of environmental permitting and regulatory compliance, ability to interpret and apply policies in alignment with EO No. 5. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills identifying inefficiencies and streamline workflows, ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong communication and coordination skills to work across agencies and supporting applicants, attention to detail in data tracking, reporting, and maintaining transparency and accountability.RequirementsEducation: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in one of the Physical Sciences, Environmental Sciences/Studies, Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences, or in Environmental Planning, Environmental Policy, or Physical Geography; or in Civil Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Bio-resource Engineering.NOTE: All U.S. degrees and transcripts must be from an accredited college or university. All foreign degrees and transcripts must be evaluated for accreditation by a recognized evaluation service by the closing date of this posting.
