Security Engineer, Product Security

In this Security Engineer role, you will design and implement secure architectures for Chainlink’s products and help other teams adopt safer patterns. You’ll build tools and controls deployed across the company and advance core security features for public Chainlink services. You’ll shape processes to deter and detect attacks while aligning with broader security goals. This remote role offers the chance to influence the security of next‑gen Web3 infrastructure and stay at the cutting edge of crypto security.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy security tooling and controls across the organization
- Design and implement core security features for Chainlink products
- Create processes and systems to make attacks harder to execute and easier to detect
- Embed security considerations into upcoming engineering and non‑engineering projects
- Help define and drive the company’s security objectives
Key requirements:
- Experience in Go or Rust
- Experience in a security function
- Experience building security software or securing enterprise systems
- Comfortable with Unix operating xaygatp systems (including macOS)
- Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment and technologies
- Go or Rust
- Solidity (desirable)
- React / NPM (desirable)
- Security software development and/or securing enterprise systems
- Cryptography concepts (TLS, FIDO, encryption, public key cryptography)
- Security analysis tooling and frameworks
