This position will oversee month-end and year-end close activities, prepare financial reports, and support budgeting and forecasting efforts. The role requires strong analytical skills and collaboration with internal teams to maintain accurate financial reporting. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.ResponsibilitiesLead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completionPrepare and review journal entries and reconciliations to maintain accurate recordsMaintain and analyze general ledger accounts for accuracy and compliancePrepare financial statements and internal reports for management reviewSupport budgeting and forecasting processes to align with business goalsAssist with audit coordination and compliance requirements to meet regulatory standardsIdentify process improvements and enhance accounting workflows for efficiencyPartner with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reportingRequired Experience/SkillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business3+ years of accounting experienceStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standardsExperience with month-end close and financial analysisAdvanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systemsAbility to work independently and manage multiple deadlines effectivelyPreferred Experience/SkillsExperience in a law firm or professional services environmentFamiliarity with ERP or advanced accounting softwareStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentEducation RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field requiredCPA certification or progress toward CPA preferredContinuing education in accounting or finance is a plusKnowledge of current accounting regulations and compliance standardsStrong foundation in financial analysis and reporting principlesBenefitsIf eligible under the ACA, medical, dental and vision benefits and time off in accordance with local paid sick time laws will be offered.
