The Psychologist will work with students, staff, and families to provide a wide range of psychological services, including conducting psychological assessments, delivering mental health support, counseling, and behavior interventions. Responsibilities also include collaborating with educators to create strategies that support students’ academic and emotional well-being, and promoting a positive school environment conducive to learning and development. Qualifications Proficiency in Psychology and Psychological Assessment, including diagnostic and evaluation skillsStrong expertise in Mental Health and Counseling to support students’ emotional and mental well-beingKnowledge of Medicine as it pertains to psychological and psychiatric careExcellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skillsMaster's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, School Psychology, or a related field is requiredState licensure or certification to practice as a psychologist in North CarolinaExperience working in an educational setting with diverse student populationsStrong commitment to the ethical principles of psychology and confidentiality
