Regional Operations Manager – Data Center OperationsLead Mission-Critical Infrastructure Across a Growing Regional NetworkAbout The RoleDP World is seeking an experienced and strategic Regional Operations Manager to oversee data center operations across multiple sites within a designated geographic region.Our customers' data centers are the foundation of critical digital infrastructure, supporting the technologies and services that power businesses around the world. As Regional Operations Manager, you will be a key member of the DP World Cloud Services leadership team, responsible for ensuring operational excellence, scalability, reliability, and continuous improvement across multiple campuses.This role requires a proven leader who can successfully manage complex operations, develop high-performing teams, drive cross-functional collaboration, and deliver measurable business results in fast-paced, high-availability environments.What You'll DoRegional LeadershipProvide strategic direction and operational oversight for multiple data center sites within the region.Ensure alignment with global operational standards, customer expectations, and business objectives.Drive consistency and accountability across all regional operations.Operational ExcellenceLead capacity delivery, production operations, logistics, infrastructure deployment, and operational readiness initiatives.Establish and monitor key performance indicators to drive quality, efficiency, and reliability.Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, reduce costs, and increase scalability.Team Leadership & DevelopmentBuild, develop, and mentor high-performing operational teams.Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Develop future leaders through coaching, training, and succession planning.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Capacity Planning, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Facilities, Network Operations, Project Management, and Customer teams.Lead complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and geographic locations.Ensure successful coordination of regional operational priorities.Data-Driven Decision MakingUtilize operational data and analytics to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance gaps.Develop action plans and measurable improvement initiatives.Drive informed decision-making through metrics and reporting.Growth & ScalabilityAnticipate future capacity requirements and operational challenges.Develop solutions that support rapid growth and infrastructure expansion.Contribute to long-term regional and global operational strategies.Incident ManagementServe as the regional escalation point during critical operational events.Coordinate response, communication, recovery efforts, and post-incident reviews.Ensure timely resolution and continuous improvement following incidents.Process ImprovementStandardize and optimize operational processes across all regional sites.Share best practices and lessons learned throughout the organization.Support the development of scalable global operating models.Safety & CompliancePromote a culture of safety, security, and operational excellence.Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.Lead by example in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.QualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.10+ years of operational leadership experience in data centers, critical infrastructure, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or high-availability technology environments.5+ years of experience leading teams, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and talent development.Demonstrated success leading operations across multiple geographic locations.Experience managing large-scale cross-functional programs and initiatives.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision making.Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to travel approximately 50%.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting hyperscale data center environments.Knowledge of data center logistics, inventory management, and capacity planning.Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.Familiarity with fleet management systems, automation platforms, and operational analytics tools.PMP, Agile, Scrum, Lean, or Six Sigma certification.Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related discipline.About The RoleHow you will contribute Ensure that customer expectations are met and/or exceeded within the confines of company guidelines.Quarterly presentations to customer senior management relative to our scorecard and initiatives.Participate in customer invited meetings e.g. 9:30 am to support Customer strategic objectivesCommunicate with the customer and demonstrate initiatives supporting continuous improvement.Meet company objectives with respect to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale and Environment.Quarterly presentations to senior management of syncreon re Plant objectives and initiativesEstablish 5 year / contract life business plan, annual budgets and ensure targets are metLocal initiatives to ensure plant progression in all regardsAdopt continuous improvement within the workplace.Plan and execute the concepts of lean manufacturingEnsure the plant plans and executes productivity tasks on an annual and ongoing basisPrioritize activities associated with the elimination of waste in all aspects of our operationsOrganizational StrengtheningContinue to build a stronger salaried team capable of leading the hourly workforce into the demands of the future.Improve employee relations and morale through participation of personnel from the shop floor and instill behavioral disciplineImprove communication throughout the organization and at all levelsWork with Trade Unions (if applicable)Continue to identify and eliminate past practices that may impact the financial wellbeing of the plant.Work with union personnel to improve day to day operations while limiting the emotional impact on the workforceAdopt union representatives as part of the business to maximize their contribution to achieve overall objectivesNew BusinessWork with the business development and account management group to identify business opportunities within the capabilities of the plant and local areaEnsure the plant participates in all activities surrounding potential business and future profitabilityEnsure the plant is always in a state that maximizes its appeal to outsiders and potential customersBe a Corporate Citizen, create an external ImageEnsure that syncreon.US, Inc. is a positive force within the community and considered to be a good employerIncrease the exposure of syncreon.US Inc. in a positive light to maximize our opportunity for future growthWork with other suppliers and industry focus groups in the local community to learn from their experiences and adapt accordinglyQuality and Environmental Management SystemsParticipate as an active member of the management team in supporting ISO 14001 and ensuring that their direct reports abide by these processes and operating work instructionsDrive, Attend and participate in both ISO TS 16949 and ISO 14001 management reviewYour Key Qualifications A college or university degree related to manufacturing is preferred and / or MBAManagerial experience at various levels and/or other manufacturing locationsManufacturing / logistics background in the automotive industry is preferredJob experience in a Tier 1 operation is beneficialA production, materials and quality control background compliment skill setWhy Join DP World?DP World is a global leader in logistics and supply chain solutions, supporting some of the world's most innovative companies.
