EHS Territory Manager -Spring, TX

Job Title: EHS Territory ManagerLocation: Spring, TXPosition OverviewWe are seeking a dependable and experienced EHS Territory Manager to support safety operations for construction and maintenance projects, primarily in the power generation sector. This role will focus on proactive safety planning, compliance oversight, and project audits-working closely with superintendents and project teams to ensure safety programs are implemented effectively.This position requires significant travel anywhere within the Southwest and particularly El Paso and Spring and the surrounding region. Overnight stays are common. Some extended stays are required with overtime (paid).Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary EHS representative for assigned projects, primarily at power plants, and other industrial sites.Develop and implement site-specific safety plans, procedures, and job hazard analyses in collaboration with Superintendents before project mobilization.Conduct project audits typically visiting the following week to verify compliance and identify improvement opportunities.Support hiring processes for field teams with safety input and guidance.Perform incident investigations when required, including stepping in for the EHS Director during absences.Complete required safety-related documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping accurately and on time.Provide training, guidance, and support to field leadership to ensure safety requirements are understood and met.Maintain a presence in the office during slow seasons (some weeks may be entirely office-based).Coordinate with clients on environmental considerations (hazardous waste, stormwater, etc.) when necessary.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field OR equivalent field safety experience.8+ years of construction safety experience (EHS management, safety auditing, safety plan development).Strong background in construction safety (industrial, mechanical, power generation).Proficiency in incident investigations, safety audits, and OSHA complianceHigh comfort level with technology (reporting systems, mobile apps, MS Office, etc.).Ability to work independently and manage workload without daily direct supervision.Knowledge of environmental compliance topics (hazardous waste handling, stormwater management) is a plus.Travel & Work ExpectationsTravel: 75%No remote work except for occasional personal needs.Overnight stays are provided when more practical than extended same-day travel (per diem provided).Some extended stays are required for planned small service work.Company Vehicle will be providedCompensation & StructureBase Salary: $90,000-$120,000Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate will be a self-starter with a strong safety mindset, a collaborative approach, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and travel schedules.
