Facility Equipment Mechanic

JOB SUMMARYThe Facility Equipment Mechanic is responsible for performing general repairs and preventative maintenance activities on utility systems and associated equipment.ESSENTIAL DUTIESMaintain competency in troubleshooting turbines, reciprocating gas compressors, air compressors, pumps and valves. Perform preventative maintenance activities on utility systems and equipment.Inspect, identify and repair mechanical issues.Maintain accurate records of all inspection and maintenance activities. Organize and work alongside installation contractors.Must be competent with the use of computers for research, material ordering, writing and updating work orders.Maintain good communication and work in a team environment.Act as the singly point of with offsite and onsite vendors. Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and the general work area. Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.Other duties will be assigned to this position as needed.REQUIRED EXPERIENCEMust have a minimum of 5 years related work experienceHigh school diploma or GED equivalentValid Driver LicensePREFERRED EXPERIENCEExperience working in the oil and gas industryPrior experience working on the North Slope
