This role is hands-on and collaborative, supporting projects from early scoping and estimating through implementation and closeout. You'll work closely with Sales, Operations, and Project Management to develop solutions, support clients, and help ensure projects are delivered successfully.What You'll DoQuoting & EngineeringDevelop accurate and competitive quotes alongside Sales and OperationsReview drawings, specifications, addendums, and scopes of workSupport pricing for structured cabling, access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and network infrastructureSite Walks & AssessmentsConduct site surveys to gather requirements and assess conditionsRecommend practical, scalable solutions based on technical feasibility and budgetTechnical Sales SupportAct as a technical resource for the Sales teamHelp present solutions and proposals to clientsAssist in writing proposals with clear scope, technical detail, and pricingEngineering & Pre-ConstructionPerform research on materials, equipment, and site conditionsGenerate RFIs and clarify project requirementsCoordinate with subcontractors, review quotes, and onboard new partners as neededProject Support & ExecutionAssist with submittals, documentation, and project deliverablesSupport early-stage project coordination including labor planning and material orderingHelp manage project documentation and closeout packagesEnsure smooth handoff from Sales to Project ManagementAccount & Process SupportOnce advanced within the role, you have the opportunity to support assigned house accounts and maintain strong client relationshipsAssist with service and maintenance program developmentIdentify risks and support mitigation planningContinuously look for ways to improve processes and reduce costsGeneral ResponsibilitiesAttend internal and client meetings (office and on-site)Support project lifecycle tasks as neededContribute to a team-first environment and step in where neededQualificationsStrong communication skills and ability to work with clients, vendors, and internal teamsExperience in project management, planning, or coordinationAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsProblem-solving mindset with strong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with IT infrastructure, networking, or physical security systems is a plusBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field (preferred not required)Relevant industry certifications or hands-on experience (a plus)RequirementsU.S. Citizen or equivalentValid driver's license with a clean driving recordHigh School diploma or equivalent (minimum)Ability to pass background check and drug screeningFluent in EnglishAbility to obtain State and Local Security licensesProficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and mobile toolsWillingness to learn, take initiative, and grow within the rolePhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbsComfortable working on job sites and on your feet for extended periodsAbility to navigate active construction or installation environmentsWhy Join MarathonOpportunity to grow within a fast-moving, hands-on environmentExposure to both technical and operational sides of the businessStrong team culture that values accountability and supportWork on meaningful projects across security and infrastructureIf you're looking for a role where you can learn, contribute, and be part of a team that's building something solid, we'd like to hear from you.
