Wake Orthopaedics a multi-specialty orthopedic group with multiple locations in Wake County, NC is seeking a Practice Manager to oversee our regional clinic office locations. Whether it be recovering from a broken bone, joint replacement surgery, a sports injury or a fracture, our goal is to get patients back to doing the things they love.Job description:The Practice Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and direction of clinical and administrative operational activities within the orthopedic practice.The ideal candidate is a highly motivated leader, with a proven record of leading a multi-faceted team, in healthcare, towards achieving an organization’s vision, mission, and goals. Healthcare manager should be results driven and participate in decision making that produces high-quality results. Candidate must be willing to travel between locations as needed.Essential Responsibilities:Ensure that departments are staffed appropriatelyMonitor staff performance in compliance with established timeframesTrack and manage operational dataDevelop and implement tactical work plans to support the goals and objectives of the organizationParticipate as needed as a member of various committees related to the overall improvement of the practiceRegularly interface with providers, managers, and staff to assist to facilitate communication and improvement activitiesPerform all other related duties as assigned in a professional and responsive mannerSupport, understand, and promote our mission, vision, values, policies, and proceduresFoster respectful working relationships with professional colleagues, patients, families, and general public regardless of age, gender, lifestyle, culture, beliefs, race, socioeconomic class, or abilityStrong verbal and communication skillsConceptual analysis and the resolution skills to deal with complex problems and situationsThe position provides supervision to Patient Registration, Radiologic Technologists, Athletic Trainers, Medical Assistants, and Orthopedic Technologist.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Athletic Training, Healthcare Administration, or related field with 5-8 years of experience in a leadership role is desirableProven track record in providing clinical leadership to ensure positive patient experiencesGeneral clinic policies and proceduresEffective personnel management including training staff and delegating duties
