We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.Position summaryThe Assistant Food & Beverage Manager will assist in effectively managing all aspects of Food & Beverage. This position is responsible for delivering an exceptional food, beverage, and service experience for all our guests.ResponsibilitiesManage the daily production, preparation & presentation of all food for the facility's concessions and special events to ensure quality consistent product is producedAssist in hiring, training, mentoring, and supervising all Food & Beverage Team MembersOpen, supervise, operate, and close concession locations throughout the venue and managed propertiesMonitor daily and weekly food & labor costs and financial reports to assist in cost managementAssist F&B Manager in weekly and monthly inventory reportingEffectively manage all cooler, freezer, and dry storage areasEnsure highest levels of food safety & sanitation are being maintained, operationally manage safety practices to ensure compliance and inspections scores of 98 or betterAssist in ordering of perishable & non-perishable food supplies as well as kitchen suppliesAssist F&B Manager with research into new food & beverage items, to create and implement new menu ideas that reflect current trendsManage supply invoices and effectively communicate with vendors, sales representatives, and suppliersContinuously inspect equipment, food deliveries, kitchen equipment, and order repairs as necessaryEffectively manage customer complaints and suggestionsCoordinate with other managers and vendors regarding catering for special events and partiesComplete special projects and daily assignments as directed by managementThe ideal candidate hasProven success of effective management strategy in a high-volume concessions/food & beverage environmentExperience in supervising staff in order to effectively execute a successful eventExperience and success in customer service and leadershipAction-oriented personality with a "get it done" attitude and proficiency for efficiencyMinimum qualificationsMust be at least 21 years old2-4 years of culinary experience2-4 years of food & beverage management experienceFood Safety Manager Certification is preferredServSafe Certification is requiredRequires good communication skills, both verbal and writtenMust have strong leadership skillsMust be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skillsAbility to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast paced environmentMust be able to work under pressure and be decisiveAbility to motivate employeesAbility to prioritizeMust be able to work well in a group settingMust have strong mathematical skillsMust be able to work irregular shifts to include nights, weekends, holidays as neededProficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and ExcelWorking conditions and physical demandsMust be able to lift 50 pounds waist highMay be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop, bend, carry, lift, pull, and pushWill be required to operate a computerFacility has intermittent noiseJ-18808-Ljbffr
