Warehouse/Merchandiser Associate

Job Summary Warehouse & Merchandiser associate Catalyst Workforce LLC is hiring a full-time Warehouse / Merchandiser associate to support a growing distribution operation in the Walnut area. This is a long-term opportunity with consistent work and room to grow as operations expand. The current reporting location is temporary and may change as the business transitions into a new warehouse facility. Candidates must be dependable, flexible, and able to report consistently as operational needs evolve. This hybrid role combines warehouse operations, product delivery, and merchandising responsibilities. Employees will assist with receiving and organizing inventory, preparing orders, loading and unloading deliveries, maintaining warehouse organization, completing delivery routes, and supporting product merchandising at customer locations. The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, and comfortable working in both warehouse and customer-facing environments. Client details will be shared during the interview process. Schedule Monday through Friday Open schedule availability is required Hours may vary based on warehouse workload, route volume, delivery demands, and operational needs Must be available for long routes when needed Weekend work or deliveries may be required Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Responsibilities Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming inventory Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately for delivery Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment Perform inventory counts and report shortages or damaged product Rotate stock and organize products to maintain warehouse efficiency Follow warehouse safety procedures and company standards Delivery Responsibilities Load and verify orders before departing on route Deliver product accurately and on time to customer locations Unload product safely, efficiently, and professionally Maintain delivery paperwork and required route documentation Communicate delays, route issues, shortages, or customer concerns to management Keep assigned vehicles clean, organized, and work-ready Follow company procedures for delivery execution, route control, and service standards Merchandising Responsibilities Stock shelves, displays, coolers, and freezers at customer locations Rotate products using first-in, first-out (FIFO) practices when applicable Organize and maintain attractive product displays Ensure products are properly faced and organized Communicate low inventory levels or merchandising opportunities to management Maintain professional relationships while providing excellent customer service Requirements Valid California driver's license Clean driving record Previous warehouse, delivery driving, merchandising, or distribution experience preferred Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus (training may be provided) Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical work throughout the day Strong reliability, organization, and time management skills Professional customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation is required to report consistently, as the reporting location may change in the future, and work may involve more than one local site Additional Information This position is hired through Catalyst Workforce LLC for an active client account.
