Level 1 Technician (Low Voltage Cabling)

*A*K Technologies is a commercial security, video surveillance, and AV integrator serving Central Texas schools, government facilities, and commercial construction projects. We are hiring four Level 1 Technicians to join our field team. This is a ground floor role: we hire reliable people and train them into certified low voltage technicians, with paid training and a defined path to Level 2 and beyond. What you will do: pull, route, and terminate low voltage cable (Cat6, fiber, security and AV wiring) on active construction sites. Mount devices such as cameras, card readers, speakers, and displays. Label, test, and document cable runs. Keep job sites clean and material staged. Support senior technicians and learn the trade every day. What we need: reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Able to lift 50 lbs, work on ladders and lifts, and travel to job sites across Central Texas. Able to pass the background checks required for school district work. Construction, electrical, or cabling experience is a plus but not required.
