About the Role The Project Manager is responsible for providing consulting services managing data center MEP infrastructure projects for our financial services client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives. This job is part of the Project Management function responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion. Role is onsite at our client data center in Georgetown, TX (30 miles north of Austin, TX).What You’ll DoManage all areas of project management for commercial data center projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout. Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project. This includes the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification. Interface directly with client to lead client MOP (Method of Procedure) process for scheduling any and all data center construction related activity. May ensure standard methodologies are followed for design and delivery of critical facility system components and equipment.Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct a standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients. Implement project documentation governance that is aligned with company and client requirements. Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated. Direct the project delivery team by providing guidance and direction to achieve goals. Craft action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule. Track the progress of each project and report the status and variances. Demonstrate ability to identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans. Implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks. Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions. Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with company values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement. Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.What You’ll NeedApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. * Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
